Around the farm - First frost of the year
This morning we had our first frost; I was up early as some guests needed breakfast first thing as they were travelling to Heathrow to catch a flight - we had to defrost their windscreen before they could depart! It was about 9.30am when I could get outside to take some photos - the frost had gone but the thaw remained and made for some pretty Autumnal shots ....

The front drive - the horse chestnuts continue to shed their crisp, rust coloured leaves
Peter's duck pond with its new fencing surrounding it. A hole in the old fencing meant Peter's ducks had 'disappeared' - we suspect a stoat.
The fishing lake
Trying out the 'macro' setting on the camera.
Another shot of the horse chestnuts.
A shot of the front field looking towards Polgooth.
